Born 1948 in Coalville, Utah. Married Jerry Hicks, a former Amway salesman and seeker, in 1980. Together they spent the early years of their marriage reading Seth, Napoleon Hill, and Jane Roberts — trying to understand how reality actually responds to thought.
In 1985 Esther began to channel a non-physical collective who introduced themselves as Abraham. For the next twenty-five years she and Jerry held workshops across the US, recording hundreds of sessions that became the source material for the modern Law of Attraction movement. The Secret (2006) drew directly from their work.
Jerry died in 2011. Esther has continued teaching. The material itself — deliberate creation, emotional guidance scale, the idea that feeling is the indicator — is woven deeply into the FRQNCY voice lineage, whatever one makes of the channeling.
